OBATALA owns and created both IFA and ORUNMILA.

Babalawo would not agree to this and it is not a must you agree to it, just move aside .

In the power ranks, I always tell people that IYAAMI ELEYE and IYAMOPO are more powerful than IFA .

Still on that, babalawo would never agree to this but we really don't care what anyone thinks or say . The truth is the truth.

If IFA is so powerful as babalawo say, why can't IFA defeat IYAAMI ELEYE and IYAMOPO?

If IFA is so powerful, why does iyaami ELEYE and IYAMOPO has the power to make IFA powerless????

IYAAMI ELEYE and IYAMOPO are superior in power and ranks over IFA .

Babalawo would not speak the truth because they needed your money to feed their stomach .

I know and I see how you are sending your dogs to me and I laughed because I am piling them up for one blow.

In the olden days I said and as I was saying.

Olden days here means 3000+ years ago when IFA is not yet a business and we don't have famous but dullard as a babalawo, when ODU IFA is still living inside Babalawo.

Babalawo today don't have ODU inside them, everyone is now an OLUWO with no ODU IFA living within them.

What a world of greedy people we lived in and everyone has customized IFA to suit their need.

Everyone thinks we need a book of IFA , do we need it ? Why do we need it ?

We only need it because people don't have ODU IFA living within them, they needed something closer to the truth but not the truth. ..

In the olden days , when they want to do IFA festival.

The babalawo would go to OLOBATALA (OBATALA priest and priestess) to feed OBATALA first before anything.

After feeding OBATALA, the babalawo would go to his OLUWO to take him(babalawo) on a spiritual journey to the realms and wilderness of IYAAMI ELEYE and IYAMOPO to give them their dues.

Visiting IYAAMI ELEYE and IYAMOPO is the next thing a babalawo does after feeding OBATALA.

This two things are vital and very important, because without OBATALA there would be no IFA ,

Without OBATALA nobody would beg IYAAMI ELEYE and IYAMOPO for anyone.

You feed OBATALA first because OBATALA is the first of everything and because you might have offended IYAAMI ELEYE and IYAMOPO and you don't want your IFA to be blocked.

After feeding OBATALA, you give IYAAMI ELEYE and IYAMOPO what they want so that they would continue to guide your IFA .

After doing this things, then you may proceed to feeding your IFA and doing other rituals for your IFA festival.

Today in the 21st century, No Babalawo has ever seem it right to do things the old ways .

They are all looking for ABIDO SHAKER or animal horn,

All babalawo are complaining that leaves and herbs are no more working

Most Babalawo work, when they do any works for you, it won't work and many people are running away from IFA and Tradition because their is no more potency .
